We strive to ensure all boarders are healthy, happy and well cared for. Horses are happier when they are outside grazing; we have summer (Primarily Bermuda) and winter (primarily Rye) grass. Horses live and graze in pastures in groups of 2-3, with constant access to run-ins for shelter and water. Horses are stabled in the barn only during inclement weather and are fed twice daily - including 13% feed and high-quality hay as needed. Farm owners live on-site.
We offer services including starting horses under saddle, correcting behavior issues, developing relaxation and connection, basic dressage, trail riding, jumping and trail riding. Methods are suitable for horses of all disciplines.
These classes blend yoga and horsemanship to facilitate a deeper connection and a clear channel of energy between horse and human. Combining traditional yoga practice with activities both on and off the horse, you will experience how breath, body awareness, and mindful touch affect our interactions with horses. By responding to feedback from the horse, we become more centered, relaxed, and attuned in mind and body.
Horses can help us become more grounded, centered, and calm. Through relationships with them we can create a space of healing, learning, and growing.
We work with community and youth organizations, therapists and organizers with experiential approaches to growth and healing.
